Grace Ministries

Adult
United Methodist Women's Group - Grace has two UMW groups, the Sunshine Sisters and the Nightingales.  Contact the church office for more information.

Dinner for Six/Eight
-The Nurture Committee randomly selects these groups based on a list of those who would like to participate.  This is an opportunity for dinner and a chance for fellowship outside of the church.  Each participant prepares and brings a part of the meal.  Participation in outside group activities such as concerts, plays, games, etc. are often combined with dinner to make for a very enjoyable gathering for all involved.

Children

Children's Sunday School  The Children's Sunday School class meets when the Library Bible Study Class meets, led by Mitch Mooney and parent volunteers. This is different from Children’s Church that coincides with the 11 am Worship Service.

Children’s Church  Children’s Church occurs at the same time as regular worship service. Children attend the regular service in the church sanctuary and may leave, if they wish, after the Children’s Time or the first scripture reading for Children’s Church.  They return to their parents during the last hymn or for communion. Children’s Church includes Bible lessons and activities led by experienced teachers. Children are also welcome to stay in the regular worship service.

Special Studies Series
Special classes and study series occur throughout the year, usually including Advent and Lenten Study Series.  Announcements about upcoming classes are made in Worship Service and appear in the Pulpit & Pew monthly newsletter and on the website.  Call the church office for information.

Music
The Grace Notes Choir - rehearses at 7:00pm on Wednesday evenings.  Music ranges from hymns and gospel to works of the great masters.  Full choir, a cappella, quartet, solo, and instrumental music can be heard during Grace services.  The choir is supplemented by traditional organ and piano.  Music director is Stefen Kane and organist/pianist is Les Young.
