mary blair small world

Mary Blair’s art has inspired me for a very long time, but I do not always. Whether through my golden book he is portrayed, or Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, I was conscious of his illustrations in color and so at an early age.
It was a trip to Disneyland as a fourth class and get to see, It’s Small World, the greatest impact my art does. This is actually a photo I have just found – I’ve made one of my visits to Disneyland as a child (I only went a few times). I’m not really sure what year, but in the 80s. This really knocked my socks Small World & I often think how I can try to reconstruct (when listening to recordings Disney of course).
As an adult I still enjoy her illustrations and creative vision, along with Small World It’s even more appreciated. Happy Birthday to Mary Blair-100!

Most newspapers – including the top seven daily newspapers – primarily using custom fonts.
A study conducted by the firm of fonts, Ascender Corp., showed that the newspapers as being more inclined toward blending their print and online initiatives, looking more and more toward a custom font designs.
The study, which both display and font on the front page of newspapers in the United States examined, it appears that more than 50,000 fonts to choose from, the majority of papers on a smaller subset of fonts in the content of their messages to create and design them.
“Newspapers have new challenges designing and publishing printed and electronic versions,” said Bill Davis, author of the study. “Each medium has different font formats and technologies and create fonts with optimal legibility jury is still the best approach is to create electronic versions of newspapers in a way that protects the look and feel of the print. Edition, particularly regarding maintaining brand identity.”
This study shows that 10 families are the most popular fonts used by newspapers today: Poynter, Franklin Gothic, Helvetica, Utopia, Times, Nimrod, Century Old Style, Interstate, Trade Gothic and Optima. This makes sense, Davis said, because many of the typefaces designed specifically for newspapers that include the types of features that challenge the design for readablity reproduction on paper.
In addition, the study found that most of the newspapers studied rely on custom fonts and type faces. Ascender says this is because the use of custom fonts allows publications to strengthen their brand and quality, which differ exclusively for their publications.

Choosing a canvas of black and white room can be tricky. If you try to keep the minimalist space, I can understand why you would not hesitate to the room with colorful wall art to decorate. Well, there is a solution to the dilemma by hanging the picture looks too modern.
Black and white image on a canvas can complement the minimalist space. The black color gives sophistication and class. White creates balance and create contrast. It is still possible to decorate the black and white with a few bits of colored cloth.
If you choose to hang the pictures in color, select the canvas with only a few colors to serve as an accent to your decor minimalist. Look around the room to accent other colors in the pillows, curtains, carpets or other decorative items and knickknacks. Base your colored canvas art on their color.
If you stick to black and white illustrations, note the color of your wall art canvas for choosing a particular wall. If your walls were painted black, hanging out with more white in print. If your walls are white, do the opposite and choose to print more black or gray.
Get your artwork does not have the exact same color as your walls. You need some contrast between your wall and wall art canvas color. Always the image on the canvas that you want. The combination of aesthetics and design your personal taste.
I would also suggest that you get canvas prints are printed on canvas and gallery wrapped ready to hang. Gallery wrapped canvases have the gallery look so ready, so you do not have to frame. Just hang straight from the box.
